Villa of my dreams
Group ARCA and architect Javier Dueñas designed a new concept house, carving into the rocky hillside to create a home and a pool with views of the Pacific Ocean.
Resort Island
Located on the west of Mexico, the home has been designed to work with the
natural landscape instead of against it. “With this idyllic scenario, imposing the program me upon the site as if it had fallen almost randomly resulted devoid of a true significance,” explained the architects in a statement about the project.

Summer house
This house emerges, in a conceptual way, from the relationships between the natural elements of the landscape, inspired in the mutualism that nature can achieve — allowing for life to exist even in the harshest of conditions. The slope of the site was to be redirected with a flat cover that sought to mimic the surroundings, which generates the interior space beneath it. While always trying to maintain the relationship between built and wild, the indoors opens completely to allow the breeze and the red sunset light to inundate the space, aided by the hue of the cedar covering the walls.
